CLP and Safety
CLP stands for 'Classification, Label and Packaging' and is a European Regulation from 2008. Soy wax is vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans which are non-hazardous, this is why it isn't stated on the labelling. However, home fragrances of any size containing fragrance require a warning statement, for the knowledge and safety of the consumer. We are proudly CLP compliant and every product sold to our customers have CLP labels on the packaging. The information is specific to 10% fragrances - the precise and maximum fragrance measurement we use. Each label clearly states the ingredient, warnings and our full contact details which are stipulated by Law. If you are known to be sensitive to certain ingredients and wish to check the ingredients for any product on our website prior to purchase, please contact us as we will be more than happy to send you the necessary information.
Under the General Product Safety Regulations 2005, it is required that all producers and distributors of any potentially dangerous product must be fully labelled with information and warnings relating to that product. A safety label is attached to each individual product or, if purchasing a gift box, a safety sheet included in the lid of the box. Burning wax melts can be extremely hazardous so please ensure you read the safety label prior to burning our melts. Should you have any questions about wax melt safety, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help you
